CHURCH CLEANUP DAY
Everyone is encouraged to meet at church at 9am for a day of cleaning (and fellowship). Several projects are on the agenda, such as painting, upgrading the playground area, general cleanup of church grounds, and cleaning out old items in the empty Sunday school classrooms.
UNITED WOMEN in FAITH and LANCASTER CHILDREN'S HOME
The UWF is sponsoring the collection of household items for the Lancaster Children’s Home. Items include Dove Personal Care Items, Toilet Tissue, Paper Towels, Ziplok Freezer Bags- Gallon, Trash Bags- Bathroom, Kitchen, and 30+ sizes, Tide Pods, Family Size Cereal, Feminine Care Products, and Feminine Wash/Towelettes. Collected items will be delivered on Mother’s Day. Thank you in advance for your support of this mission. Pantry Items Needed:
Grits, Canned Tomatoes, Canned Fruit, Rice, Jelly, Pasta-all shapes, Spaghetti Sauce, Canned Pasta, Instant Potatoes, and Juice in 64 oz. plastic containers. Hygiene Items- Toothpaste, Toothbrushes, Deodorant, Mouthwash, etc. They are also in need of plastic grocery bags.
